TCL Roleplay is a story-driven DayZ community built around persistent narrative, immersive character development, and a living world shaped by player action. Long-form storytelling, faction identity, and meaningful consequences define the experience — your choices carry forward across the life of the server.
The world evolves through staff-driven arcs, faction conflict, and the shadow of a powerful organization known as the Imperium. Information uncovered in-game becomes canon. PvPvE is an extension of character motivation, not the end goal — survival, diplomacy, betrayal, and discovery all carry equal weight.
Rules, character creation, support, and the community all live here. Start here first.
Explore the Imperium Archives to understand the world, factions, and ongoing story arcs.
Use Discord guidance to finalize your character and connect to factions and narrative hooks.
Your actions have lasting impact. Get involved, join events, and leave your mark on the server.
01 Roleplay First ▾
All player actions must be motivated by in-character reasoning. Combat, theft, and hostility require valid narrative justification tied to your character's story or faction goals.
02 No Metagaming ▾
Information your character doesn't have in-world cannot influence your decisions. Out-of-character knowledge from Discord, streams, or friends stays out of character.
03 Value Your Life ▾
Your character should act as though their life has meaning and consequence. Suicidal rushes or fearless confrontation of overwhelming odds are not acceptable roleplay behaviors.
Give your character a reason to be in the region. A goal, a loss, or a secret keeps your RP grounded and gives others something to engage with.
The in-game radio and Discord channel are IC tools. Broadcasting creates encounters. Monitoring creates intelligence. Both create story.
The Imperium Archives contain in-character documents your character may plausibly know. Read them before events to stay in the loop without metagaming.
Getting robbed, captured, or outsmarted is a story opportunity. The best memories on RP servers often start with things going wrong. Lean into it.
